Your data, treated like our spices — handled with care, never sold

What we collect
We collect only what we need to get spices from our hills to your door:
- Contact & delivery details — your name, delivery address, phone number, and email, provided when you order or write to us.
- Order history — what you bought and when, so we can support you, handle returns, and manage your subscription.
- Your cart, stored on your own device — this site keeps your shopping cart in your browser's localStorage. It lives on your device, not on our servers, and you can clear it anytime through your browser settings.
- Messages — if you WhatsApp, email, or use our contact form, we keep the conversation so we can actually help you.
How we use it
- Order fulfilment — packing, shipping, and delivering your order, and sharing your address and phone number with our courier partner for that purpose only.
- WhatsApp updates — order confirmations, dispatch alerts, tracking links, and replies to your questions on +91 96328 14369.
- Subscriptions — managing your Subscribe & Save deliveries, reminders before dispatch, and any changes you request.
- Newsletter — recipes and harvest stories by email, but only if you opted in. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and one click is enough.
What we don't do
Our promise, in one line:
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. To anyone. Ever.
We don't run invasive ad-tracking on you, we don't buy data about you from third parties, and we don't send marketing you didn't ask for. The only people who see your details are our small team and the service providers who need them to serve you (couriers and our payment provider), each bound to use them only for that job.
Cookies & localStorage
Our site is intentionally light. We use your browser's localStorage to remember your cart between visits — that data stays on your device. Any cookies we use are functional ones that help the site work; we don't use third-party advertising cookies. You can clear localStorage and cookies at any time through your browser, though your cart will empty when you do.
Payment data
Payments are processed by our payment provider on their secure systems. We never see or store your full card number, CVV, or UPI PIN — the provider handles those under their own security certifications and privacy policy. We receive only what we need: confirmation that your payment succeeded, and a reference for refunds.
How long we keep your data
We keep order records for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires us to, and account or subscription details for as long as you shop with us. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. When data is no longer needed, we delete it. And if you ask us to delete your information (see below), we'll remove everything we're not legally required to retain.
Your rights
It's your data. At any time, you can ask us to:
- Access — see a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct — fix anything that's wrong or out of date (a changed address, a misspelt name).
- Delete — erase your information, except records we must keep by law.
- Opt out — stop the newsletter or non-essential messages, instantly.

Children
Our site and products are intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has shared their details with us, contact us and we'll delete the information promptly.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top. For significant changes — anything that meaningfully affects your privacy — we'll also tell you directly by email or WhatsApp before the change takes effect.
